Deryn L. Trap flavoured Witch House, and an absolutely mesmerizing listen. This is honestly the darkest I've ever heard witch music, most likely due to the absolutely bone-chilling vocal delivery on this EP. Ghostly horns and reverberated shrieks peppered onto a murky pool of snapping snare drums, deep bass tones, and steady, dark percussion makes for an absolutely fantastic record. Although it can get a bit repetitive, this is definitely one of my favourite releases to come out of this year so far. Favorite track: Quartz.

S One of the most riveting and awe-inspiring albums I've ever listened to, SUBSTANCES is the quintessential form of unearthed emotions and sheer, raw power. Grazing synths and heavy percussion set an unforgettable mood in the dark corners of what is some of the most impressive feats of simplicity in electronic compositions as of late. Absolutely beautiful, intimately haunting. Favorite track: Ether.

Incredible album with amazing production that leads to a tangible evocation from the banshee wail of the vocals. Gorgeous textures throughout really encapsulate a consistent feeling of desolation and bleak despair while maintaining an underlying strength in acknowledging the dark corners of one's experience with a light to face what lurks in your own shadows.
